Compact, dense, rounded shrub up to 1.1 x 1.1m in 10 years
Flowers: Lax trusses of 8-10, tubular funnel-shaped, 5 lobed flowers, 50mm long x 75mm wide; red in bud, opening orange and fading to yellow with age; throat inside and out is red; inside with 2 rays of reds spots extending to the outer edge of the dorsal lobe; orange fades to light yellow with age; black anthers and stigma

Foliage: Elepidote. Elliptic leaves are 90mm long x 40mm wide, dark glossy green above, hairless; retained for 2 years
Other Information: Raised by Halfdan Lem and registered by James A Elliott in 1974. Unlikely to be commercially available in the UK but advertised as available in parts of Europe and Australasia
